Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and handle specimens per protocol.
• Record maintenance data and ensure accuracy of patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure specimens are stored/transported per required temperatures and protocols.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
