Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Cumming, GA. The role involves phlebotomy duties, specimen labeling and processing, and data accuracy for patient records. You will work a Mon-Fri schedule from 7:15am to 4:15pm on a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement.

Requires at least 2 years of experience, certification in phlebotomy, and proficiency with MS Office. Benefits are available.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per established procedures.
• Update patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously.
• Ensure specimen transport and handling complies with OSHA/DEP regulations.
