Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist (ID 6218) for a 3-month contract with potential to convert to permanent. Location is Greer, SC, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, processing and labeling specimens, and ensuring proper transport.

The role requires at least 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, a valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients and demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity according to protocol.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
