Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in San Antonio, TX. The position covers a float across locations within a 10-15 mile radius, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 am–5:30 pm schedule (8-hour shifts).

The role requires at least 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, with a likely extension to permanent placement. Benefits are available and related duties include training and workflow recommendations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight needles and butterfly needles. Understand orders and match requisitions to specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required; ensure accuracy against test orders.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual department trainings.
• Answer telephone calls and relay lab results as needed.
