Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a qualified phlebotomist for a contract role in Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. The position involves blood draws, sample labeling, and specimen transport, with potential for permanent placement after 3 months.

Schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with travel to nearby sites as needed. Qualified candidates will have a phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced settings, proficiency with MS Office, and a High

Phlebotomy certification required.
Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or medical setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
Properly explains venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles; follow physician orders.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for transport.
Store specimen samples at required temperatures and ensure proper labeling.
Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
Answer telephone calls and relay laboratory results as needed.
