Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Fort Worth is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, processing, and waived testing with a patient-centered approach. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Schedule is a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Duties include venipuncture, labeling, data entry, and delivering high-quality patient service as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification from an accredited phlebotomy program.
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience (additional education may substitute).

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Enter accession data into the computer and prepare samples for testing.
• Provide quality customer service to patients and visitors.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
