Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Opportunities for growth and development are available within the organization.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm, rotating Saturdays 7am-11pm. The role involves traveling to additional sites as needed and requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Color blindness test may be required.
• Overtime flexibility may be required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned
