Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Knoxville, TN team. The role involves collecting blood samples by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, accurately entering patient data, and handling specimen processing and billing tasks.

You will deliver excellent patient service and support at multiple site locations. We value strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of accredited training preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
