• Perform venipuncture and dermal collections, therapeutic phlebotomy, and blood cultures with aseptic technique.
• Label specimens correctly for blood banking and transport to the laboratory.
• Assist with specimen processing and distribution to lab departments.
• Document specimen-related information in the laboratory information system.
• Maintain phlebotomy equipment and report issues to leadership; adhere to safety and HIPAA guidelines.
