Job summary

Labcorp in Marietta, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

You will travel to additional sites as needed and may participate in incentive plans; minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and 2+ years of experience; preferred 5+ years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
