Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Suwanee, GA team. This role requires precise venipuncture and capillary collection of specimens across age groups, with a focus on accurate data entry and patient service.

The candidate should be able to travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a Phlebotomy certification or completed training; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred, with strong communication and customer-service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if no work experience.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
