• Greets patients using the AIDET (PHLEBOT) model and provides directions for quality experiences.
• Evaluates orders for specimen type, time of draw, and handling requirements.
• Uses hospital systems and PDA to obtain information and communicate with staff.
• Safely collects specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Cleans, stocks, and maintains phlebotomy work areas and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
