Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent experience.
• Experience with venipuncture and capillary procedures required.
• Knowledge of EKG procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical, office, and clerical procedures in support of the Laboratory.
• Data entry of specimens and patient registration in the LIS database.
• Enter test charges, scheduled tests, and results in appropriate laboratory database.

Skills

Venipuncture and capillary procedure experience

EKG procedures knowledge

CPR certification

Education

High school diploma with additional courses or training
