Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed a phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Assistant program within the past year or have one year of relevant experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties including clinical, office, and clerical procedures within the Laboratory.
• Data entry of specimens and patient information in the LIS database.

Skills

Venipuncture and capillary procedure experience

Knowledge of EKG procedures

CPR certification

Education

Completion of high school plus additional courses or training

Certification from ASCP or NCA within two years
