Responsibilities include data entry, specimen registration, and ensuring accurate test charges and results in the LIS system.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent with necessary training.
• ASCP or NCA certification required within 1 year.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Lab Assistant program within past year or 1 year related experience.
• Venipuncture and capillary procedures required.
• EKG knowledge preferred; CPR certification preferred.
• Vaccination against seasonal flu and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform clinical, office and clerical duties in support of the Laboratory.
• Data entry of specimens and patient information in LIS and department logs.
• Data entry of test charges, scheduled tests and results to the laboratory database as needed.
