Job summary

Vancouver Clinic seeks a Washington State credentialed MA-Phlebotomist for our Camas location. You will provide excellent customer service, perform venipuncture, and support patient care with precise specimen handling and LIS/EMR use.

The role requires a credential or 90-day window to obtain it, BLS CPR, and at least one year of blood collection experience. Workday is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-Phlebotomist credential required or obtainable within 90 days.
• BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year of blood collection experience preferred.
• Ability to calm patients and work under stress, with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skilled specimen collection.
• Handle and label specimens accurately and safely.

Job description

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Washington State credentialed MA-Phlebotomist for our Camas location. In this role, you will serve as a professional representative of the laboratory by providing excellent customer service and skilled venipuncture collection. This position works collaboratively with healthcare team members to support positive outcomes for patients and the organization through phlebotomy services, specimen collection and handling, and accurate use of laboratory information systems. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential.

Location: Camas (4500 SE Columbia Palisades Dr, Camas, WA98607)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:15AM-5:15PM, Rotating Saturdays* 7:00AM-12:00PM

Hiring range starts at$22.25–$27.45 per hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. *Differentials: Saturday$2.56/hr

Pay Range: $21.81 - $30.53

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred.
• Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions.
