Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our Pembroke, MA team. You will obtain quality blood samples, ensure correct patient identification, label and transport specimens, and maintain HIPAA compliance in a patient‑focused environment.

The role is onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive, Pembroke, MA, 40 hours weekly, 8:40 am to 5:10 pm, with rotating Saturdays at Weymouth. We offer comprehensive benefits, a generous sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy course completion preferred.
• Experience with phlebotomy procedures and specimen handling is beneficial.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using various phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, labeling, processing, and transport of specimens.
• Communicates procedures and addresses patient concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements for safety.
• Plays well with computer systems and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Performs additional test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
