Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Greenwich, CT. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. Estimated duration is 3 months with potential for permanent hire.

The role requires clean lab practice, specimen handling, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy certification and at least 12 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens, centrifuge and maintain data records.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures and transport as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Demonstrate phlebotomy techniques using straight or butterfly needles.
• Review physician orders and match requisitions to specimens.
