Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to provide care to employee and dependent patients at our on-site Health Center. The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You will perform phlebotomy procedures, maintain safety and infection control, assist with supply inventory, and may instruct new staff. A valid national phlebotomy certification and CPR are required. The role offers full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Current national certification (required for WA, CA and LA) in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed.
• CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification must include hands on evaluation of skills.
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)
• State Phlebotomy Tech Certification (CA, WA and LA)
• Six months to one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment or satisfactory completion of an approved phlebotomy course and completion of 100 hours clinical experience

As a Full-Time Phlebotomist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Rio Rancho, NM.

What You’ll Bring

• Current national certification (required for WA, CA and LA) in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable.
• CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer - the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.
