Job summary

UT Health Pittsburg Hospital in Pittsburg, TX seeks an evening shift, PRN Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will collect specimens and perform venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instructions, and related culture collection as part of patient care.

The role requires a phlebotomy program completion with clinicals or prior phlebotomy experience, plus nationally recognized certifications and strong customer service in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience.
• Certification from nationally recognized agencies: CPT (NHA), PBT (ASCP), RPT (AMT), NCPT (NCCT), CPT (ACA).
• Hospital lab information system skills and strong customer service skills.
• Experience working in the clinical setting.

Preferred Job Requirements.

• 5+ years' experience as a Phlebotomist.
