Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or phlebotomy experience.
• Certification from nationally recognized agency (NHA CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT, ACA CPT).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws according to protocol.
• Provide urine collection instructions when required.
• Assist with specimen culture collection and processing as directed.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience
• Certification from nationally recognized agency. Accepted agencies and certifications include, but are not limited to:
  • National Heathcareer Association – Certified Phlebotomy Technician: CPT (NHA)
