Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to greet patients, collect blood samples, and prepare specimens for multiple departments. The role includes data entry, clerical support, and collaboration with nursing staff.

The position requires completion of a phlebotomy program, with certification preferred. Weekend availability and hospital experience are highly valued, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Phlebotomy Course/Program required.
• Phlebotomy certification highly preferred, but can obtain once hired.
• One year of experience needed for interview consideration.
• MINIMUM 8-10 sticks per hour.
• Open availability for weekends for PRN.
• Hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Phlebotomy internship desirable.
• Larger facility experience desirable.
• Trainable candidates with good experience and the ability to work as a team.
• Six months computer keyboarding or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule: 1pm-9:30pm (5-8s). Rotating weekends requirement.

Job Summary and Qualifications
