Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to represent the hospital and department as the interface between patients, physicians, and laboratory areas. The role involves performing venipuncture to collect blood specimens for diagnostic testing and ensuring patient care by prioritizing physician orders.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy training or certification is preferred. One year of relevant hospital laboratory experience is desirable.

• Preferred Certification: ASPT or ASCP certification
• Preferred Experience: One-year previous experience in a hospital laboratory, clinic, or physician practice
