Job description

Phlebotomist at Labcorp

Work Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM; rotating Saturdays (additional days may be required).

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Execute administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to kosmetic sites when needed.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Two years of pediatric phlebotomy experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
