Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Harrogate, TN.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 2:45PM.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic tests.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the data system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or a minimum of 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
