LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Manchester, TN. You will be responsible for performing blood collections and providing superior customer service to our patients.

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Manchester, TN.

Work Schedule

• Mon, Wed, & Fri 8a-5p at Manchester
• Tues & Thurs 8a-5p at Tullahoma
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Requirements

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
