Job summary

LCA Lab. Corp. of America in Gallatin, TN is looking for a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, data entry, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training.

Job description

Location: Gallatin, TN. Work hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program
• Three months or more of experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test
