Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Histology Technician to perform routine and specialized phlebotomy procedures across multiple sites. You will manage test orders in laboratory systems and document specimen receipt, ensuring patient specimens are collected per protocol and age-specific requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), CPR-BLS certification, and phlebotomy experience. Travel between sites is required, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Certification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and PBT (ASCP) certification preferred.
• Experience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/Director.
• Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population served.
• Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.22 - $27.87 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

What you will need:
