Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, completed accredited phlebotomy training with clinicals, and national certification. Certification options include CPT, PBT, RPT, NCPT, or CPT from ACA, with inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or phlebotomy experience.
• Certification from a nationally recognized agency (one of CPT/NHA, PBT/ASCP, RPT/AMT, NCPT/NCCT, CPT/ACA).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection, and specimen culture collection as directed by lab protocols.
