Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is seeking a weekend shift, part-time Phlebotomist in Cushing, OK. The role involves specimen collection including venipuncture and capillary draws, following clinical protocols and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of an accredited phlebotomy/MA program (with clinicals) or relevant phlebotomy experience, and nationally recognized certification. Prefer experience in inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or prior phlebotomy experience required.
• Certification from a nationally recognized agency (NHA CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT, ACA CPT).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection per protocol.
• Follow safety and quality standards for specimen collection and handling.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience
• Certification from nationally recognized agency. Accepted agencies and certifications include, but are not limited to:
