Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center is hiring a Phlebotomist on a PRN, variable schedule basis in Clyde, NC. Join Lifepoint Health’s clinical lab team dedicated to accurate, timely blood collection and specimen processing.

The role supports inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on quality patient care, safety, and teamwork within a 24/7 lab environment. Requires phlebotomy certification and BLS within 30 days of hire.

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Our full-service clinical laboratory at HRMC operates 24/7, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, and urinalysis. Serving both inpatients and outpatients, we offer routine and STAT testing, backed by a skilled team consisting of a board certified pathologist, medical technologists and technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff. Committed to accuracy and timeliness, we deliver the critical results providers need to ensure the best possible patient care.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a Hight School diploma or GED, and a current state Phlebotomy certificate. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
