Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Beckley, WV. This full-time role offers varied shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network committed to quality patient care.

You will label, collect and process blood specimens, maintain equipment, and support blood drives while providing compassionate care and accurate sample handling in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; accredited phlebotomy training preferred.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; ASCP or NHA certification preferred.

What We\'re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred; An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy Preferred
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Experience: One year of experience preferred.
• Licenses: Certification from ASCP or NHA Preferred
• Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability, integrity, and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital department.
