Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Postsecondary coursework in health information management preferred.
• Experience with confidential records and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process medical record and ROI requests following policy.
• Maintain HIM logs, queues, and tracking tools for workload.
• Ensure documents link correctly to patient, encounter, and date.
• Protect privacy and securely disclose PHI per regulations.
