Job summary

CSL is seeking a dedicated technician to prepare the donor and pheresis area for processing at our Norman, OK center. You will operate pheresis equipment, monitor donors, and promptly respond to alarms to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic math skills, a high school diploma, and at least three months in a medical setting. You may perform additional duties and cross-train as needed, with strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect donor after process completion.
• Maintain donor safety and report adverse events to staff.
• Record incidents and equipment data using PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to donor in the donor information system.
• Alert supervisor about donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data per SOPs.
• Maintain clean work environment and supply levels.
• Follow all HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
