Job summary

Vylor seeks a Phenotyping Supervisor in Johnston, IA to lead field operations, phenotyping activities, and regulatory stewardship across multiple crops. You will supervise personnel, coordinate experiments with scientists, and ensure high data quality while aligning with safety and compliance standards.

The role requires experience leading teams, strong communication, and the ability to manage large datasets and field activities in a dynamic research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of people leader experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies and manage large data volumes with MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead phenotyping and coordination with trait scientists and stakeholders.
• Oversee planting, phenotyping, harvest operations, and field execution.
• Manage data quality and regulatory documentation for trials.
• Supervise seasonal staff and contingent workforce.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
