Job summary

Autodesk Research in the United States invites a Research intern to explore novel AI/ML techniques across graphics, CV, and 3D modeling. You will collaborate with teams spanning AI, spatial computing, AEC and human perception to develop immersive, editable world representations and prototypes.

Responsibilities include researching multimodal AI approaches, building prototypes, and documenting findings for publications and demonstrations.

Qualifications

Pursuing a PhD with expected completion in 2028 or later.
Research experience in AI/ML, CV, reality capture, 3D modeling or geometry generation.
Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks.
Ability to design experiments and work with complex datasets.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Publications or open-source contributions preferred.

Responsibilities

Research multimodal AI approaches for generation and editing of novel 3D representations.
Develop methods using foundation models, AI agents, or world models.
Work with multimodal datasets including visual, spatial, and physics data.
Design experiments and benchmarks to evaluate AI predictions.
Build and evaluate research prototypes for real and simulated environments.
Document findings through papers, presentations, and demonstrations.
