Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA, offers a Summer 2027 Materials Intern position in our materials development lab. You will work on a PhD-level R&D project, developing and testing innovative materials that push the boundaries of 3D printing.

We welcome candidates passionate about material science or chemistry, with wet-lab experience and exposure to polymers; CAD (SolidWorks) and Python basics are a plus. This is a salaried internship with bi-weekly pay and onsite supports.

Qualifications

• Interest in material science or chemistry.
• Experience with polymers in research or coursework.
• Basic CAD and programming skills (Python) preferred.
