Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kent, WA to safely transfer materials, stock, and prep prescriptions for distribution. You will unload trucks, verify counts, rotate stock, and use PDAs/scanners to update our inventory system.

You'll need basic math, organization, and communication skills, with a Pharmacy Assistant License required and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A flexible schedule is needed.

Warehouse Associate

Location: WA, Kent, 22623 68th Ave South

Hours: 8-5pm

This position safely transfers material from receiving area to warehouse or dispensing locations and ensures proper stock rotation-utilizing PDAs to update the inventory system. Using your organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, you'll help ensure the accuracy of each prescription order for each patient we serve.

How you'll improve the lives of others

• Safely unpack and evaluate incoming product for correct count and condition in comparison to purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and stock the warehouse/pharmacy.
• Communicate discrepancies or issues as they occur to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned workstations and areas.
• Bin and shelf inventory maintenance and stock rotation-including shelf counts, short shelf life and expired product audits.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment and hand tools such as pallet jacks (manual and electric), carts, dollies, box cutters, wire cutters, etc.
• Accurate data entry and retrieval using computers, and scanners (PDA).

Requirements

• Basic math, organization, computer, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment; willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Pharmacy Assistant License required
• Bend, stoop and lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to do repetitive bending, squatting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and hand motions.
• Ability to walk/stand for full shift.
• Ability to read and differentiate small print.
• DSCSA working knowledge/experience preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
