Job summary

The Cigna Group in Kent, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely move material from receiving to storage and dispensing locations, using PDAs to update the inventory system. You will unload trucks, stock the warehouse and pharmacy, and perform shelf-life audits to ensure accuracy of orders.

You will operate pallet jacks, carts, and scanners, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting a flexible schedule as needed. 8-5 schedule commonly expected.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant License required.
• Basic math, organization, computer and communication skills.
• DSCSA working knowledge preferred.

Job description

Warehouse Associate

Location: WA, Kent, 22623 68th Ave South

Hours: 8-5pm

This position safely transfers material from receiving area to warehouse or dispensing locations and ensures proper stock rotation-utilizing PDAs to update the inventory system. Using your organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, you’ll help ensure the accuracy of each prescription order for each patient we serve.

Responsibilities

• Safely unpack and evaluate incoming product for correct count and condition in comparison to purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and stock the warehouse/pharmacy.
• Communicate discrepancies or issues as they occur to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned workstations and areas.
• Bin and shelf inventory maintenance and stock rotation-including shelf counts, short shelf life and expired product audits.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment and hand tools such as pallet jacks (manual and electric), carts, dollies, box cutters, wire cutters, etc.
• Accurate data entry and retrieval using computers, and scanners (PDA).

Requirements

• Basic math, organization, computer, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment; willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Pharmacy Assistant License required.
• Bend, stoop and lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to do repetitive bending, squatting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and hand motions.
• Ability to walk/stand for full shift.
• Ability to read and differentiate small print.
• DSCSA working knowledge/experience preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
