Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Pharmacy Systems Technician to provide day-to-day technical support for Omnicell Cabinets, Anesthesia Carts, AutoMed, Intelliguard and other packaging systems. The role spans multiple sites, with occasional travel to off-site locations for service and optimization of par levels to support patient care.

The technician will troubleshoot printer and computer issues, assist in installations, and help develop training and competency materials for staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with pharmacy technology systems and IT-enabled devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with pharmacy packaging equipment and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for Omnicell Cabinets, Anesthesia Carts, Automed, Intelliguard and other packaging systems.
• Respond to service calls for equipment across hospital sites and travel to off-site locations as needed.
• Manage par levels to support patient care and reduce waste.
• Assist with training and competency assessments for new staff; provide annual materials.
