Job summary

Centurion seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician at Moberly Correctional Center in Moberly, Missouri. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will enter prescription data, maintain stocked pharmacy files, and coordinate faxed orders with the contracted pharmacy, while supporting healthcare and corrections staff.

The shift is Monday–Friday, days, 7:00am–3:30pm. A $5K hiring bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible full-time team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current certification/licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or L1MA required.
• Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Maintain a well-stocked pharmacy and pharmacy files.
• Ensure prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Interact with healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to support the pharmacy department.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center located in Moberly, Missouri.

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. He/She will aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned supervised duties to include interacting with healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department. Duties will include typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system, ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy, and ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing. Our Pharmacy Technicians also maintain pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders and other records, as required by the Pharmacist.

Available Shift: Monday-Friday, Days, 7:00am-3:30pm
