VitalCore Health Strategies in Pearl, MS, is seeking Pharmacy Technicians at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility to support Pharmacists in supervised duties, ensuring accurate dispensing and documentation within a correctional setting.

Qualified applicants will hold Pharmacy Technician certification, pass a drug screen and background check, and meet state/federal regulations. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are available.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Technician aids and assists the Pharmacist in assigned supervised duties in a responsible and ethical manner. The Pharmacy Technician interacts with a variety of healthcare professionals, corrections, and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy department and fulfill contractual requirements.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Current certification/licensure in state of employment - Pharmacy Technician


• Drug Screen and Background Check Required


• High School graduate or equivalent.


• Thoroughly knowledgeable of all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
