Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician to join our team at Coastal State Prison in Port Wentworth, GA. The position supports the pharmacist by typing data, maintaining inventory, and handling prescription processing under supervision.

Day shift, on-site work with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current Pharmacy Technician certification and licensure, and at least one year of experience

Qualifications

• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy.
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician t to join our team at Coastal State Prison, located in Port Wentworth, GA.

Pay Scale: $19-$23 Per Hour

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
