Job summary

Kroger Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Nampa, Idaho to provide excellent customer service, assist pharmacists, and support health and wellness initiatives in a compliant, ethical setting.

You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps while maintaining HIPAA standards and state regulations. The role includes ongoing coaching and opportunities for growth within the Kroger family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current state/national licensure per state.
• Assist pharmacist in duties not requiring professional judgement.
• Deliver stellar customer experience across reception, data entry, and dispensing.
• Coach and train clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescriptions.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings per laws and policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Report illegal activity per regulations.
• Perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
