Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working toward licensed technician certification through a national program required.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Assist with prescription processing and insurance billing.
• Handle new prescriptions and refill requests under supervision.
• Gather patient information and assist pharmacists in dispensing.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and protect patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Stock supplies and log invoices; perform cash transactions.
• Administer vaccines where allowed and certified.
