MaineHealth's Spring Harbor Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a training capacity. You will work alongside a trainer/mentor to assist pharmacists and the care team with storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications.

You will perform only competencies you have completed in your knowledge-based courses and on-the-job training. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, with progression under supervision and a focus on safe, accurate medication handling within the hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or eligible for applicable state license as a Pharmacy Technician.
• None required experience.
• Proficient computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and care team with storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth.
• Work under a trainer/mentor and perform competencies you have completed in training.
