MaineHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Portland, ME, for a training-capacity role, working closely with a trainer/mentor to support pharmacists and the care team in medication storage, distribution, preparation and handling within Maine Medical Center. The technician will perform only competencies they have completed in coursework and training under supervision.

Basic requirements include a high school diploma and eligibility for a Pharmacy Technician license, plus proficient computer

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and care team in storage, distribution, preparation and handling of medications.
• Work in a training capacity alongside a trainer/mentor while completing responsibilities in their pharmacy practice area.
• Perform competencies they have completed in knowledge-based courses and on-the-job training under supervision.
