OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Pharmacy Technician Trainee to assist licensed pharmacists, interpret and label medications, and support distribution for patient care while considering patient age and department policy.
The role involves handling prescriptions, labeling, stocking drugs, compounding under supervision, completing training modules, and preparing for the PTCB/ExCPT exam within six months of hire in a fast-paced health system.

This position works under the direction of a registered pharmacist to interpret, obtain, prepare/compound, label, and distribute pharmacy products for patient use while taking into consideration patient age and any other relevant information. They document the distribution of medication for proper use and reimbursement in accordance with department policy.
