OhioHealth’s Infusion Therapy department in Pickerington is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to interpret, prepare, label and distribute pharmacy products for patients. You will assist in IV preparations as applicable and manage non-monitored medications such as enteral or respiratory products, following department policy and safety standards.

UP TO $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!! This is a full-time, evening position at Pickerington Methodist Hospital working 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., alternating between two weekdays one week and three weekdays the next. The schedule also includes every other weekend hours 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Interprets, obtains, prepares/compounds, labels, and distributes pharmacy products for patient use while taking into consideration patient age and any other relevant information. Depending on department, may also prepare IV medications using special equipment supplies and techniques for patient administration and processes refill requests for non-monitored pharmacy medication such as enteral products/supplies or respiratory medications. Documents the distribution of medication for proper use and reimbursement in accordance with department policy. Involved in production, packaging, record keeping, and stocking tasks. - General Profile -- Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical/scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise. High School or GED (Required) PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board - Board of Pharmacy Specialties
