What Will You Do?

1. Process prescription requests while building trusted customer relationships with patience, empathy, and care.
2. Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues for the best customer outcomes.
3. Follow department procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify details.
4. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking to keep the department running smoothly.
5. Handle products properly, operate equipment, maintain accurate logs, and follow sanitation standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Computer skills
• Ability to perform basic math for data entry and prescription filling without errors
• State-specific requirements—may require Pharmacy Technician certification
• For New Jersey applicants: must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in ordering and inventory control
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

Note: Certification and/or state registration may be required in some states. Wegmans supports employees through the certification process. Certified Pharmacy Technicians may earn a $.50/hour shift differential at participating locations.
